If he gets more active then he has a chance of winning a World title, if he doesn't then he will fade away.

Ola Afolabi has a fight scheduled for Saturday against Sandro Siproshvili.

Afolabi definitely can become a World title holder. He seems a bit lazy in the ring sometimes, and it loses him rounds. But he has the talent. It doesn't look like he has much backing behind him, unfortunately.

Enzo made him look great. Truth is, if Enzo didn't lose heart after failing to knock Afolabi out then he could've coasted to a wide UD. If Enzo was not as weak-minded as he is when he can't blow you out then we wouldn't be talking about Afolabi at all. IMO.

Ola reminds me very much of James Toney in both style and application. He looks seriously talented but also very lazy. He took too many rounds off against Enzo and then did the same thing against Huck. Huck was in big trouble in the 5th round of their fight,Ola let him off the hook and didn't do much for the rest of the fight - yet many people have said that if he applied himself that bit more in the fight he could have won.

I read an interview on ESB and I think he's with K2 now. Maybe that'll help him get more fights and a more rigourous training regime. Best of luck to him anyway.

Afolabi gave the number 1/2 cruiser (Huck) an extremely tough fight. The Enzo fight wasn't a fluke, imo.

I didn't call it a fluke, mate. All I said was that if Enzo wasn't as weak-minded and chinny as he is, then he could've, and should've coasted to a UD. Enzo was miles ahead and Afolabi showed a decent chin, so to me, it was totally logical that Enzo just coast, but he still went for his big shots.

That's just how he is, he throws those big hooks from start to finish, he's always done the same.

I watched him in an interview once and he totally has the wrong attitude for boxing. He said all he is interested is money and he doesn't even like boxing. If he is ever going to do something, then he needs to get off his ass and put the effort in like most of the pro's out there.
