FFS - why don't they advertise this, kept on googling it with no luck and now it's announced for 4 days time!

Luckily I can still attend but only because I don't have a social life :DD

Why was the location of the Fayre changed from the Novotel, Hamersmith, to the hall in Euston?

It was there last year as well. What I find amazing is the 4 days notice - do they actually want people to attend or has this been widely advertised elsewhere??? :oo

Plenty of bargains and some great stuff - of course there is the overpriced stuff there as well!

That's where the Negotiating skills become a Factor! As there is only Four days notice, there could be the lowest number of people attending, which means the Negotiating skills could be even more of a Factor! :box:

Yeah, but who the f*ck are 'Muhummid Ali' and 'Mike Tyon'? Probably a couple of photocopier salesmen from Michigan. You would have to pay me to take it away.
 :TU:

i sell at this fair every year, no fakes that i am aware of, some former champs are there selling and signing,
always plenty of sellers and customers attend, and there are plenty of bargains to be had with prices starting as low as 25p.
it's a shame a lot of you missed it but try and make next year, it' a really great day.
i'm new to this site and look forward to chatting with you all.
cheers

I used to have a stall at these fairs a few yrs ago, it was more social than making money, I have 100s of Posters up, only made about £100,
but 1 year, this guy advertised that he had Lennox's shorts, I was there that day, looked at them, and told him, Lennox only wore them once, and there were 3 pairs made!!, and the pair that he had, were not from the fight he advertised, he was a bit arrogant, telling me it was Lennox's shorts for a certain fight, thinking I did not know what I was talking about!!, I said, No, Lennox wore the shorts of a distinct colour/patten, I told him I have them in the back of my car!!, he thought I was Derek Trotter!, and with my sense of humour, he just started to ignore me,
I returned 5 min later with the shorts that Lennox DID wear for that fight, , ohh how his face dropped!!!!! he said, how did I get them, I told him I took them off Lennox as I was working with him..........hah that was so funny that day, the guy did not know what to think.......
