Didn't realise this was going to be covered live as well, good work sky!

Lets hope the fans that make the journey to Japan don't act like the arseholes who followed him to Coventry

Good luck Rendell!

never seen nishioka fight.

lot of people who have seen him don't give munroe much chance.

but u never know with rendall.

u know rendall will go in there and throw leather.

if he can stay with the jap it could get interesting. :box:

As much as I'd love Rendall to win I just thing Nishioka has too much for him and expect him to defend his title by stoppage.

Toshiaki Nishioka vs Jhonny Gonzalez fight video here and it's only 3 rounds. What a fight. Nishioka went to Mexico to beat one of Mexico's top P4P fighters.

Enjoy! :bag:

Classic one punch KO.

Good luck Rendall- I hope he can do it- but can't see him being able to take a points win.

Prediction, wide points win for Nishioka.

Rendall's a cute fighter, I sincerely hope he doesn't get his butt kicked. I am hoping for a heroic performance something akin to what Jason Booth laid on last month, who most people wrote off too, but with a win obviously.

this will be a really tough fight. nishioka's power and experience will be major factors, but munroe is strong, much fresher, bigger and has a great engine. rendall won't just fold; he'll make a real argument out of it. he'll push nishioka quite far but the japanese fighter could respond with something really big. have to go with nishioka but the timing could be right for munroe to make a statement.

Tough fight but winnable. Munroe boxes down to the level of his opponent at times. Let's hope it goes the other way too.

If he doesn't get shaken up, he'll make a real argument of it - just hope he doesn't get jobbed.

First fight on live should be Linares-Chavez. Just bumped into Jesus Chavez downstairs and he said he was on at 6pm (that's 10am at home), with Munroe on at 7 (that's presuming the clocks don't go back tonight). Show starts at 3pm.

me too, seems good value. I also put a treble on - Nishioka KO, Haye KO1 and Hopkins came to around 115/1, I also put another few quid on the same but with Haye KO2.

That's about as good a value treble as you'll get, IMO.
