If it's in Madison Square Gardens in New York, how do I go about getting tickets for that place?

Lee's people seem to think a deal is close.

Duddy's people are more coy.

Irish middleweight hope Andy Lee continues his rehabilitation when he appears on the Wladimir Klitschko-Derek Chisora bill in Germany in December. No opponent has yet been announced.
Southpaw Lee, raised in Limerick but fighting largely out of America under Manny Steward, suffered a heavy seven-round stoppage defeat at the hands of Brian Vera in the States in March 2008 which exposed serious deficiencies in the charismatic former Olympian, such as a loose defence and a real lack of stamina, and seriously derailed his world title pretensions. Lee went into the fight unbeaten in 15 outings and on a run of nine straight stoppages, but after dropping Vera in the opening frame, he went for the kill and punched himself out, and was defenceless by the time of the stoppage.
Lee was at a loss as to how to avoid Vera's big right hands, shipping punch after punch and busting up badly, and he lost confidence in the aftermath when he picked up a nasty cut against Philadelphia's Willie Gibbs on the way to a late stoppage win, a cut which required plastic surgery and a lay-off, and when he was rocked in the ninth and 10th rounds by the left hooks of tough Frenchman Affif Belghecham as he hung on for a decision win. It wasn't quite Brian London against Ingemar Johansson but it was pretty close, and yes, one even wondered how Belgecham's sister would have fared against the big, slow, tired, all-too-hittable Lee in those closing rounds.
Then came a farcical retirement win over 38-year-old Mamadou Thiam in Limerick earlier this year (Thiam, who could barely keep his feet, quit after two rounds on his stool), so Lee is still batttling to regain his confidence and his credibility more than two years on from Vera, particularly as his recent opponents have made Thiam look like Battling Siki. Lee feasted on three rollovers over the course of the summer to pad his record to 24-1 (18).
Lee, who has now won his last nine, obviously whacks a bit and goes well to the body but you wonder if there is any more to his armoury, just as you wonder about the calibre of his recent opposition. Why the massive drop down in class? At least he is keeping busy as he builds to a prospective money spinning showdown with fellow Irishman John Duddy in the New Year in New York.

I'll give you one thing Bennie, you are consistantly tedious.

is this going to be the haye-audley of ireland (an imperfect comparison, as neither lee nor duddy have haye's status i.e. being a world champion)?

I think its probably a more even match-up.

The Pride of Limerick, Andy lee looks set to fight John Duddy on Feb. 5th. in Madison Square Gardens.

Andy should win that fight, if it occurs. He has the physical tools. Bennie has made some good points, about the ridiculous drop in class of opposition, but thats down to Lee's management. Duddy hasnt been setting the world on fire either with his level of opposition (Bar Chavez). Lee will be too tall for Duddy, his southpaw style will put Duddy off and Lee can be very hard to hit if he wants to be (as he was very hard to hit in his amatur days).

Both are likeable men and I wish them success. Neither has been operating on Macklins level recently,but that may change.
