McCoy was strutting down Argyle street towards Glasgow Cross, like John Travolta in Saturday night fever, & then took a double twirl & moonwalked into a video exchange shop that seconds before had caught his eye

Once inside McCoy backflipped over to the video section, in mid flip McCoy heard the groovy italian chick behind the counter shout "If I have a told you once Ive a told you a thousand times, we dont have any Tom Jones video tapes in a here!"

Then she purred "But it's a good to see you anyway handsome"

McCoy finally landed on his size 10's, turned to the girl to give her a better view & winked

But there was to be no passion for that groovy italian chick, well at least not that day

At this point McCoy limped over to the video section, & immediately spotted 'The Dark Destroyer Nigel Benn'

McCoy was intrigued by the tape, hey it was even in brilliant condition :) , & had 12 of Nigels early fights on it, against guys that even you & McCoy could beat, no kidding

This tape only cost £1.50, & with McCoy being a true scot, that was damn good news :good Hey, the only time McCoys pockets are emptied is when he's upside down on a damn rollercoaster

McCoys favourite 'stiff' to get KO'd on the tape was was Rob Niwenhuizen(the ring announcer took longer to pronounce his name than the damn fight lasted) who looked well over 6 foot, but his afro made him look even taller, & he was so skinny he looked like he could have made featherweight

Brutal Benn punched big Rob into the air before he dropped, and a dazed big Rob had had the cheek to complain when the ref waved the fight off

The tape is full of small & weird looking guys that quite frankly should not have been sharing a ring with a pure world class fighter like Nigel Benn, & Benn agreed, hunting them down & bombing them out

Of course McCoy can understand Benn being guided correctly at the start of his career, but Nigel was such a brutal puncher that the tape leaves you lost for words

If you can copy this fight in some way I'll give you a fortune. No kidding

You are certainly a one off mccoy When I read your posts you remind me of Lennox Lewis!

Great tape McCoy - I have had it for years and watching Benn quickly KO undersized (apart from Rob whatshisname) stiffs was enjoyable, but reflected how badly Benn was matched early on.
You can see how he thought himself capable of doing anyone after some of those KOs.

I like his swift KO of a small portly, balding yank on that tape, as well as his 12 second stoppage at Wisbeech.

McCoy, that was a brilliant post.

I'm afraid I do not own the video - but if its simply called the Dark Destroyer then I do remeber it when it was first out (and not priced £1.50).
