I reckon it would be a good idea to start a page up where we can discuss fight, tips, value bets etc.

I'll go first,

1) I got £100 on Degale to bt Smith at 9/2 at sky-bet - great bet i reckon.... into 5/2 now

2) Lopez to win Marquez by TKO/KO in rounds 1-6 @ 11/4 is well worth a few quid.

Took the 9/2 as well, Smith does mark and cut but its the wrong price and had a tidy bet on as well.

Also got Haye/Harrison under 6.5 rounds at 4/6 plus Adamek to stop Maddalone at 11/8

Don't you mean Smith to beat Degale?

Think they are meaning Smith to beat DeGale, which can still be got at 4/1 with SPortingBet. Not that I particularly think it wil happen.

Smith at 4-1 is the value bet.

Some decent prices out there at the moment. If the stories surrounding Manny Pacquiao are to be believed then Antonio Margarito is huge value at 5-1.

I'll also be backing Harrison by KO simply for the value

No we mean we took Degale to beat Smith on Pts at 9/2 with Skybet - the current price is now 5/2 - Skybet were out of line its as low as 11/8 with Stan James

Yeh then, 9/2 DeGale on points was a good value bet I agree.

I guarantee Sky will void that bet claiming that a palpable error was made. Bookies are allowed to do that if the odds are clearly wrong.

Not void Steve, checked with them before placing the bet they were happy to lay it.

Probably going on what Degale did to Dilks but Smith is a better fighter in my book to be fair and its only cuts for me that sees him stopped don't know if Degale has the power to floor him, although plenty of people do including the Skybet compiler so I could be wrong

Great value then mate, well done. I've had 50 on Hopkins to beat Pascal at 12/5 which is outstanding value. Pascal has been priced up on the back of the Dawson fight and is never a short odds favourite in my book. I also am having 200 on under 6.5 rounds in Haye v Harrison at 4/6.

Boylesports double:

Haye by TKO/KO or Diss @ 1.4
W.Klitscko by TKO/Ko or Diss @ 1.4

£100 double pays £196

Haye rnds 1-6 11/10

Word of advice always check the individual bookies rules when backing under and overs as some class the .5 as 1:30 of a round and others use it so there can't be a tie e.g. under 6.5 you have rounds 1-6 overs and you have 7-12

Sorry, my mistake - it was Degale to bt Smith or Pts... should have been a bit clearer about it

We're taking Marquez to upset Lopez and even adding a kicker bet on Marquez to win by KO:

Paulie Hyland to outpoint Willie Casey - 9/4

Willie will pile the pressure on Hyland but Paulie is technically a very solid boxer, has a good chin so should survive and I think he will start to pick Casey off over the second half of the fight. One slight concern is that Hyland has a tendency to brawl but I think he will be disciplined for the occasion that's in it.

There is outstanding value to be had on Margarito to beat Pacquiao. Lap it up, is my advice.

The current scene has a weekly betting thread which I think is ran by armageto. It's worth a look.

Prizefighter odds....

Gary Sykes 6/4
Choi Tseveenpurev 2
Scott Lawton 10
Gary Buckland 12
Gary McArthur 14
Steve Bell 14
Derry Matthews 22
Kevin OHara 25

Only available with Sporting Bet at the minute, some ridiculous prices there, will surely be changes when the high street bookies release their prices. Sykes is rightfully favourite but i think Derry and Buckland are cracking value

What are the best odds for a Margarito KO? Site must match your first bet.

Cheers

I've had a few cheeky quid on Audley in each of the first 6 @ 66/1 a round, also backed small bets on Haye 1-6 and 1-3

Stan James are offering 7/1. By the looks of their site, they appear to match your bets for the first £25 but nothing more.
