Why has he got so many No contests ??, 13 i think it was , maybe this should have gone on current scene but i feel the british forum is more knowledgable , i suppose could also have gone in past boxers as he last boxed in 2007 .

I think they are down as No Decisions - So probably unsanctioned [by the local state athletic com] fights, or exhibitions. They don't look too legit, from the other guy's record(s).

Make sense? I think I've possibly worded that badly.

makes perfect sense to my gobledegoop world D , to be honest thats what i suspected but just never seen so many nc/nd fights on a modern day fighter .

Dickie is a bit of a mini-legend because he saved Marciano's record by stopping Brian Nielsen.

Ryan had a hard head, I remember a jiggly whale-like Buster Douglas clubbing him from pillar to post & the guy would just not go down!

All the ND's relate to paydays for fights where he couldn't win or lose, or harm his massive padded record, don't know if they were unsanctioned bouts or simply prearranged to be ND fights.

There is some kind of supernatural "protection" around that record. Holmes was denied by a very controversial decision, and Nielsen in a huge upset in a fight he was winning until the final round.
