England, ON – (November 1, 2010) After sitting ringside Saturday night at Casino Rama, in Rama, Ontario, for Neven “No Surrender” Pajkic’s uninspired 8 round decision over 47 year-old Andreas Sidon, reigning undefeated English heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (12-0, 9 KO’s) was less than impressed, and wants to step into the ring with Pajkic on the December 18th Jean Pascal-Bernard Hopkins undercard in Quebec City, Quebec.

“That was pathetic,” Fury declared in the wake of Pajkic’s lacklustre showing against the aged German.

“Pajkic is supposed to be heavyweight champion of Canada, and he fights like that means nothing to him. I’m English champion, and I fight in a manner that does my title and country proud.”

“If he wants to see the difference between me and him firsthand, he’ll take me up on my challenge to meet on December 18 in Quebec City. I’ll show him the difference in his own backyard between a real champion and a joke.”

After Pajkic’s dismal victory Saturday over the inept Sidon, Fury and Pajkic exchanged some heated words ringside, which resulted in Pajkic meekly throwing a towel at the towering giant of proud Irish and British descent.

Adam Harris of Hennessy Sports, Fury’s promotional company, thinks it’s time for Pajkic to step up to a real challenge, especially if it’s in the country he’s supposed to be representing as champion.

“If I was Neven, I’d take the fight with Tyson. How could he not? But then again, I have pride.” Harris said of the proposed battle on the Jean Pascal-Bernard Hopkins undercard at Quebec City’s Pepsi Collisee.

“If he doesn’t take this fight, he should stick his head into the sand like a big ostrich.”

According to Fury, should the fight happen, it won’t last long at all.

“Don’t blink, because you’ll miss the knockout of the year. I’m a whirlwind, and Pajkic will feel the full force of Tyson Fury.”

I cannot see why not this fight cannot be made. Tyson Fury is looking for a fight to keep him busy until he can fight Derek Chisora if he does A: End up going to prison because of his assault conviction and B: been made to vacate his titles by the Board of Control in order to fight Wladmir K so he is looking to keep himself active and get a few extra before fighting Chisora for the British and Commonwealth belts early in 2011.
