I changed my tune on him completely after seeing him interviewed after the Cleverley loss - thought he came across as humble, self-effacing and was happy to take the p*ss out of himself.
I hope he does OK for himself.

he has said he wont fight bellew coz he has other options and the money isnt right, :o

i dont know who his next opponent is but my guess would be that he is getting paid less than a quarter of what he was offered to fight bellew, plus no belts on the line, and very little exposure,

people can think what they want but my opinion is danny mc is all mouth and no action, he chatted utter rubbish in boxing news saying he wants to fight bellew bad and also said what he was going to do to him, he then gets an official offer and turns it down straight away making up excuse after excuse.

How is he still fighting? He nearly always gets stopped. I remember Jim Neilly calling him "brittle chinned" back when he fought Carl Thompson about 8 years ago.

Yes. He showed what a true sportsman he is with that. How easy would it have been for him to have clawed an excuse?

I would like to see him face off against Tony Bellew. I think it could make for an exciting fight. Two good punchers with less than reliable whiskers and over-inflated opinions of themselves ... it could really be a `who lands first` ... mouthwatering :TU:

I'd love for McIntosh to beat Bellew. For some reason I like the lad, even with all his brash talk and arrogance. The Cleverly post-fight interview was class.

Appols. I didn't mean chinny. Just both guys can be put down.
I think Danny showed a decent chin to get up looking strong against Cleverly.

Both guys hit pretty good though. So maybe either guy has the extra power to keep the other down.

Tony Bellew looks promising, but he just kinda reminds me of Dean Francis. Excellent up to a certain level, but the advantages he takes down with him could be his undoing when he steps it up a level...

Shame he's a fanny. He's had ample opportunities to face Tony, but doesn't fancy it. If you're going to be brash, step up to the plate.

I'm sure if the money was right he'd do it. Why should he take any old offer to fight decent operators? Not saying I know what he has actually been offered, but I know what FW can be like when he offers people paltry amounts and then calls them a ducker.
