Willie started hard and just got harder with each round.

You must be joking,there was more talk between Dowling /Dunne/Jim Rock/and the show host than boxing,this is getting worse with each show,and them heavyweights where do they get them, 3 of them did,nt last a round just there for the money no doubt
I thought the stoppage in main bout a bit premature,Casey was mostrly hitting arms and gloves,though he was getting on top of Hyland by then, should be a hard tough fight with Casey /Martinez when it happens

I actually thought it was a good stoppage, true enough Paulie was blocking the majority of the shots but there was nothing coming back from him and it could easily have went on like that for another 30 odd seconds.

All the early finishes (due to atrocious matchmaking) meant the broadcasters had a lot of time to fill

well its not RTE's fault that they had to fill so much time.

between the early stoppages, mismatches (which I talk about in detail in my article) and the no contest, there was a lot of time to fill.

The Hyland stoppage was a good one in my opinion - Hyland was sinking without answer and not throwing back, the ref had no choice.

Just think if McCullough hadnt pulled out of prizefighter,if would prob still be boxing lower down the bills(think he owes him a drink)

Youll have to hand it to willie,i think it will take a fair man to beat him.
Must say the undercard sat. night was a disgrace,if a similar undercard for match v Martinez they will lose out big time.
On a side note a congrats must be given to the vocal Dublin crowd that travelled down were very disapointed and seemed to have a great time and no trouble whatsoever.
