Flores looking in great shape

For me the only question mark over Flores is his lack of top-level opposition, and whether his chin has been tested. He is rightly the underdog, but I think this is as close to 50:50 as it gets. Flores is a big, natural cruiserweight and looks in fantastic shape. No result in this fight could surprise me.

I'm beginning to think Flores will be a banana skin for Green.

Looks in great shape. I will have to look at what the odds are now for the fight. Whilst I am still reasonably confident of a Green mid/late round stoppage, the odds were pretty ridiculous when they first opened.

Flores' inactivity won't help him.

What were the odds when Green fought Jones? I would bet on Afghan Hound races before I bet on boxing. One wild swing can change everything.

Jones was a decent favourite in the Green fight, since then Green has never been over $1.20.

flores looks like he's lost some weight, does look pretty cut though and greeny doesnt realy look that much bigger than normal considering he weighs an extra 6 + kilos hmmmm

really cant weight for this one, nothing quite like the atmosphere of a green fight.

He looks scarelly fit, this could be a very hard fight for both boys, as i said earlier, it could be Greens last fight.

Not sure about you guys, but after reading that article I get the feeling that Flores is not fully confident. He mentions Green bullying people numerous times and that to me indicates that it's completely on his mind that Green has the ability to take guys out. I think if Green catches him with a couple of good shots early we may see Danny blast him out mid rounds.

I predict Green TKO8 Flores.

Flores can fight, there is no doubt. You dont have an amatuer record like his and then be an undefeated heavy/cruiserweight without being able to fight. But Danny is alos world class. I appreciate Siaca, Briggs and others werent great opponents, but his demolishin of Jones and one sided win over drews shows he can get insiden and beat boxers. Flores will have size but I know he would never have fought in an arena and atmosphere such as Challenge when the guys walk out. I am predicting a war and although BJ says he will dominate he knows he is in for the fight of his life. Go Greeny....now I'm getting excited. Anyone flying over for it ??

My thoughts initially, but you don't always have to sound confident to prepare right, he isn't taking the fight lightly, he understands Greens strength's, he's really no joke.

As stated before, i wont ever go against Green again, but since his comeback this is certainly his toughest fight.

Nope. How many here knew anything about him before being announced as Green's opponent? Very few I reckon

I think his physique proves that he's been training and training hard.

He has fought on a few Roy Jones Jr cards so I think he certainly has exposure to the big fight atmosphere. I also believe him when he says he isn't here for a payday!

Hmmm... not sure about that. As I said above he's been on RJJ cards and he is also often on ESPN as an analyst so I reckon people have heard of him...
