Fair play to Kevin Mitchell for crediting his source — there are too many national newspaper journalists who don't, they'll just present the story as if it were their own.

Good to see, both excellent journalists. As well as being a terrific boxing writer, Kevin Mitchell is even better when writing about tennis.
Going back to Adam Smith, surely he's not going to be negotiating with boxing promoters now? He doesn't seem to have the ruthless streak needed, too much the "nice guy" That job must go to the Sky sports boss who was interviewed in Boxing Monthly, no? The one who has lunch with FW

You'd imagine so Warrior. I'm not exactly sure what Smith's job will entail. The news broke after we'd done an interview with him for the next issue and the writer has spoken to him again to get the SP. Quite looking forward to it arriving in my inbox TBH, the original interview was interesting from a background perspective, but this has thrown a whole new light on Smith's situation.

but i think he is head of all sport and so must have a few under him running various sports and that's where Adam Smith comes in.
Glyn, do you know if Adam reads the forums? I can imagine it would give him a nervous breakdown if he took a lot of the stuff written about him to heart.
No idea Mark lol, ask Ed when he's around, he'd know

I'm looking forward to hearing about it too Glyn; sounds quite extreme for the boss to get escorted from the building for... bullying?!
Good article on the Sky boss, surprised he meets FW for breakfast..

Yeah, he's a good lad is Kevin - he's also been trying to advise one of my more 'enthusiastic' novices on the vagaries of what, where, when, etc...which is nice of him.
