If Harrison wins then surely its an easy fight to make, problems might be with Chagaev demanding a match. I'm sure Rogan won't mind working with Hearn again. Pre-injury, Rogan was one of the biggest ticket sellers in the heavyweight devision and I am sure Sky will take it. I have the feeling Haye vs Harrison is going to do very well.

A losing Euro shot is probably the best he can hope for. I'd say world level is too far, especially at his age and coming off a layoff. Having said that, all of his best three results (Prizefighter, Harrison, Skelton) were of course big upsets, so who knows? But the second loss to Sexton doesn't augur well for him going further than he already has.

Be fair, Oli. I believe Roggie, if on form and against the right person, probably Ditrimenko or Sosnowski, could win that Euro belt. He did after all beat Skelton who was the then European champ, so he may technically never have won that belt, but he beat the title-holder when he was a massive underdog.

Oh I agree, he's not going to go any further.... depends what happens on Sat though. I think though if Dereck Chisora can get a world title fight.... better fighter yes,..... better story, better ticket seller, no - then why not Rogan.

World level is too far... well it should be. But if Audley can get an underserved shot, if Dereck Chisora can get an underserved shot, if Sosnowski can get an undeserved shot, if Briggs can get an undeserved shot - why not Rogan.

I give him a great chance against A force if Audley stikes gold on Saturday, although I do have the feeling (and it hasn't been mentioned) that Audley will retire with the WBA if he wins it. He keeps saying "mission complete". He's long admitted he has left it to late to make a "legacy" in the pro's and he wouldn't really have much to fight for after.

Harrison fighting for a world title is bad enough but I think I would give up on Heavyweight Boxing for sometime should Harrison and Rogan face off for a world title.

Rogan had a great run but it seems to be over now.

True, he's more deseving than Aud though.

Before the two Sexton fights he was I agree (even then he didn't deserve a world title shot, nothing like it), but losing twice to Sam means he would be lucky to go straight into a British Title challenge now let alone a World Title shot!

If Audley loses to Haye which I suspect he will, then maybe they can rematch?

It will be a further comparison with Lennox Lewis - retiring as champion!

In terms of who-beat-who, yes, but not on recent results. Rogan still has to "earn" a shot, and before anyone says Harrison didn't either, he did at least earn it "on paper", i.e. the EBU title bringing with it a WBA ranking. Not saying that's fair, just how it works.

I think it's fair to say anyone who is fit, coming off a win and can sell the amount of tickets Rogie does is in the title mix

Fury would be great. Or even Sprott, but then I would like Sprott to earn a good payday and knock it on the head as he is a nice man, and a good servant to boxing.

We do have an exciting domestic heavy scene don't we?

I think beating a reigning EBU champion in a 12 rounder should have warranted a similar ranking with the WBC (which is the traditional belt to give EBU rankings, not the WBA but there you go) as a manufactured EBU title fight between two guys who really shouldn't have been in the top 15 in Europe. How did Audley justify a shot at THAT belt and not Rogan? Who did Rogan BEAT and still not been deemed rankable.

I think he could if he's still got the desire! I would like to see him in with Fury soon that could be very interesting

True enough, and I did always think it odd that Rogan didn't qualify for a Euro shot. However if you're talking about Harrison's shot at the same belt, at the time Audley fought for it, Rogan had subsequently lost twice, plus was injured. If you were to argue anyone deserved it more than Harrison at that time, it would have been Sexton.

Absolutely Sexton deserved the shot at it over Audley. It still wouldn't be terrible of the EBU to accept Sexton as an opponent for the title.

At domestic level I cannot see a reason why not but it is still a competitive division with the likes of Derek Chisora (subject to what happens with Wladmir K, and his hearing with the Board of Control), Sam Sexton the former Commonwealth holder who beat Rogan in two thrilling fights, Tyson Fury and Larry Olubamiwo (I can't believe he is 32) and Tom Dallas and David Price coming through and lookin to step up the quality of opposition in order to get at least an eliminator. He will have his work cut in order to achieve, but I am sure we all wish him the best of luck on here.
