I've just come in from an enforced day of government sponsored slave labour and found this mess.

I've been reading this board for some time and am sure I'll be alright here and it will be nice to be reunited with a couple of old faces and meet some knowledgable new ones.

However I'm probably more p*ssed off than a lot of you, because the Prediction League is now in a bit of a state.

I've got all the running totals, but I've not got this weeks' predictions. Obviously a lot of regular boxrec posters may want to start and some ESB guys may not make the exodus.

With this in mind I think I'm going to have to suspend the league and get my head round how to get it up and running again - which I'm happy to do.

At the moment I'm edging towards a December 13th start date. In the interest of fairness, it'll probably be one big division aswell. If things settle down quickly, however, we could be up and running next week.

Any suggestions are very welcome.

i doubt you will see my comeback now or the league again,.

Yeah I'd like to see you continue here Sheffield, you were doing a great job with the last one.
Dec 13th is a huge boxing night, there's about 10 big fights I think. A good starting point and should quickly separate the men from the boys :)

I was mid table after 3 weeks but i was about to make my surge to the top of the table then this happened!

December 13th sounds great to me, alot of fights on that night in europe and america.

This sounds interesting, any plans to re-open it then let me know, i'm game.

Might be worth starting from scratch then, Steel? Can't say I'd mind. I'd made a very poor start to the new season.

Is it like the Howitzer league Steve Holdsworth is always plugging on Eurosport? I am the worst prediction artist in the world but i do try and justfify my usually inept choices :(

so what would happen? we would all make predictions, and total up the right ones and have a ranking system?

Yeah you were doing a good job, although I wasn't doing that bad, a fresh start as of the 13th with one league sounds best
