Craig Slater - Sky Sports

Irritating. He's bumbled his way through the build up to this and has become an irritant. Doesn't excite me whatsoever and can be quite embarassing ("let's get ready for weiiiiiigh iiiin" - cringe) Much preffered Ian Darke personally.

I loved his one-to-one with Audley after the Wednesday press conference — "I'm joined now by the challenger Audley Harrison ... which is good!" Which is good? Not a highlight reel moment Craig.

I like Slater, give him a chance he is still cutting his teeth but he does a good job and on the whole I think he does a good job for Sky. He seems to have a good rapport with the fighters.

Bit harsh, but then again we all have our opinions.
To be honest I dont mind him, just as i didnt mind Gabriel Clarke on the ITV coverage either - and he got massacred on here.
I dont mind any of them to be honest. Jim Watt can sometimes be a worrier and over cautious with his commentary. Infact at one point I found his negativity completely overwhelming and used to watch Friday fight night turned down low.

Please - let it be that Gabriel Clarke is never allowed anywhere near a boxing production - ever

I quite like his delivery and the cheeky look in his face

The weigh in was a bit of car crash telly but Slater was under a lot of pressure as there was obviously chaos all over the place.
The whole shebang was late, then Logan didn't even read Haye's weight at first.
Give the Jock a chance.

Not seen much of Craig Slater so can't really comment. Gabriel Clarke's pre-fight and after-fight interviews were pretty cringeworthy. He was a 'space invader' as the Fosters adverts would say! Always got too close to them and it always seemed a bit uncomfortable.

I like Slater. He does a very good job. I wonder if he is a boxing fan as well as a commentator though? We know Paul dempsey wasn't a boxing fan at all, but he did a marvelous job on Sky and Setanta.
