Maybe it's because they knew Harrison was utter tosh and would get flattened the first time Haye pressed him.

No Offence but that's your fault, you bought into the Sky hype
Haye could have stopped it at any point he felt like it

err because A-Farce didn't know anything about it,
Haye can do what he likes and could only do this because of the obvious differnce in class.

Yes it does mate; Haye said before the fight (on Sky TV) that he knew which round the bout was to end and after the 'fight' that he and his family had bet on round 3.

WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KOs) scored a third round TKO over 39-year-old former Olympic gold medalist Audley Harrison (27-5, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, England. Little action in round one brought booing from the crowd. Haye was a bit more aggressive in round two, while Harrison was again very passive. Haye finally opened up in round three and floored Audley with a barrage of punches. Harrison beat the count, but referee Luis Pabon stopped it moments later after more punishment from Haye. Time was 1:53.
After the fight, Haye stated that he could have knocked out Harrison at any time but waited until round three because his friends had made bets on him winning via third round KO
Can any one confirm when the fight started?

Based on what?
He has struggled with and lost to some very ordinary (by world class standards) guys.

What about Ali when he was saying this stuff 40 odd years ago, It's not like it's anything new
you can do it if you are in a different league to your opponent, happens in all sports

he shouldn't be as candid as that.
he's making a bloody mockery out of it.
say that sort of thing behind closed doors.
but don't yab away to the interviewer about it.
