saw the add yesterday and it got me thinking. now im a big fan of both guys, both class imo. i'll be going for Rocky though, But...
i really think unless marquez all of a sudden starts to look every one of his 37 years he is going to really beat rocky badly, the guys the second best counter puncher in the world (imo) and Rocky is tailor made for him. the only chance Rock has is to use all him size and strenght and all out attack very early, like Diaz did in the first fight when he was having sucsess early on, but rocky has more powere than diaz so he could stagger him badly.
Marquez will be to clever and crafty though i think and will probably win by stoppage mid to late rounds.
whatever the outcome this has FOTY written all over it and it will be exiting as long as it lasts!
any thoughts?

Neither boxer will be left wondering. They are both hard men.

I think Rocky has really hit his prime now. He was a bit inexperienced Casamoyer leaving himself open to get Ko'd. The Diaz fight was close and he boxed well to get a close decision loss. Fighters need that level of experience, and I think it has now made Rocky a more lethal fighter. I'm going for Rocky on this one

I honestly believe whichever way it goes its impossible for this fight to be a disappointment, something that is quite rare these days. Bring the title home Katz, im cheerin for you brother.

Im my opinion you would have to say Boxer V Brawler, would love nothing more than Rocky to win, but he has a huge night at the office, and good luck to him, but I just cant see Rocky catching him when he is pressing forward, I think it should be a great fight, JMM is a skillfull boxer and hate to say it but I think JMM is going to pick him off...

Anyone had any reports on how Rockys training has been going ?/ I see the odds are steadily coming in for Mike.

Someone has to be confident. Pac hurt Marquez early. And Im sure Katsidis will hurt him early also. Marquez has been fighting up in the weights and he is also getting old. Im predicting a massive upset :P

We'll be heading to the brighton. The hamilton bowls usually shows all the fights too. Main event has it starting at 12:45 local.

Thats what i'm afraid of, he's certainly a better fighter than he was in the Casamayor fight, but if he thinks he can blow out JMM like he tried to with Casamayor it will end pretty bad for him.
