Did anyone get the Steiglitz bill tonight.

I've not slagged off Primetime before - I've not had the same problems.... but this has been nothing short of shoddy and disgraceful.
I'm Sky+ it, and the PPV started WAY before the advertised time. I tuned it at 7.30 and it was in the 9th round of a undercard fight.
and now, we are just having adverts - whats going on? Is this a technical fault... where is the Steiglitz bout.

Was the bill different to what was advertised?:
Fightcard
18.00 Free undercard action including K1 German Youth Championship
19.30 Dr Christine Theiss Vs Lena Ovchinnikova (WKA Middleweight World Championship)
20.10 Ramona Kuhne Vs Imra Balijagic Adler (WBO, WIBF & WBF Super Featherweight World Championship)
21.15 Robert Stieglitz Vs Enrique Ornelas (WBO Super Middleweight World Championship)
Unless you're mental, it looks like you paid £5.95 for the main event. Did you get to see it then?

6 quid for a Robert Stieglitz fight. You deserved to get mugged off paying for that shite.

How the f*ck have they been 'mugged off'? Above was what was advertised, they've paid for it and as far as I understand, that's what they will have seen. The fight was late though, I think.

Its not what they advertised it on the Sky EPG though, or in the build up before the event on the channel. I flicked on primetime at about 2 pm today and it said as clear as day Steiglitz PPV starts at 7.30 - no mention of a free undercard.

The adverts covered up the fact that absolutely nothing was going on. That was the whole card that McNeilly posted, just the main event started at 10. Though it was a bit silly it started earlier than scheduled.

ian you did get that, the 2nd fight was actually a kickboxing fight!not my cup of tea but ive seen worse undercard fights in boxing tbh .When the ppv kicked in you got round 9 of a fight ... so you misses that fight .but the constant cutting to the Froch/Abraham adverts was annoying as you didnt know what was going on a d if it was a case that there was a problem ,maybe something on screen would have been fine. but i was severly pissed off ...

Well for me worst than the adverts was the fact it wasn't clearly put (apart from the website which I looked at retrospectively) that they would be showing some on free to air. It said programs start at 6 on the epg, but the EPG said Steiglitz Preview at 6 - which, what they usually do when they say "preview" is a pile of adverts, that bird saying how to watch primetime, then more adverts. When they said PPV starts at 7.30 - thats when I was expecting the first bit of boxing - not missing a good 1.30 of it.
They could have replayed a fight from the undercard in the wait (it was over 30 minutes of adverts) - a very different presentation to what they normally show in from Germany. I guess it wasn't an "international feed" like they usually have.

Oh yeah, I'm 95% certain it was the usual international feed. But when the undercard consists of two fights, and a kickboxing contest there is always gonna be loads of empty airtime, especially when it was spread out over the evening like it was. As far as I know, when the commentator said "We'll be back with more later" it was just the static arena shot on the international feed, nothing else. Must have been horrible to sit through waiting in the arena.
That doesn't defend the EPG thing though at all, Primetime themselves could easily have recorded that one blokes undercard fight that finished about half 7, and stuck that on again in the meantime.

I was just wondering if there was an international feed for this bout as such, because when its the Klitchscko's its usually very slick - with highlights from undercard if a bout finishes early as a filler.
They seem to be doing a better job with the repeat showing, showing some of the free to air stuff - but not that 10 rounder which seemed like a good one.

I suppose all they need is a graphic up saying something like 'Next fight x v x due to start at 10pm' or whatever. That doesn't solve the recording issue mind.
