I didn't mind Witter - he had to do things the hard way though - felt he never got an easy ride from anyone - but he would open his mouth at every opp so guess he only has himself to blame

He was mixing around world level to and Hatton was always going to be his money fight, and i for one wouldnt have minded seeing it.

id loved to have seen it think witters style would have caused hatton nightmares

He was recently talking about getting a shot at Berto, says he has the style to beat him. Also remember him saying he would like Hatton but isn't holding his breath that Matthew will go anywhere near him.

Maybe a few years ago, but Junior's never going to be in world title contention again. His moment has passed.

Not sure either would want to step in with Witter...

Denton is a step to far down imo. Would be a massive massive risk for Hatton to put him in with Witter.....one i feel would majorly backfire.

That was my impression too. I think this has been mooted for the past few months aswell. From my view I think this could happen.

imo, Witter-Matthew won't happen. Just like a fight with Ricky never happened.

Matthew has a high ranking with the WBA and with brother Ricky backing him and an EBU title, can't be too far from a "world" title shot so why throw him in with a dangerous, awkward puncher like Witter who although past his best has every chance of beating Matthew? High risk, little reward.
