What a fight Bowe v Golata II was. It was on ESPN Classic last night.

How the ref (or Bowe`s corner) didn`t stop that fight I`ll never know. Bowe took a terrible beating and showed massive heart to stay in there.

Golota was a rough house, intentionally butting Bowe early on and repeatedly hitting him low.

Terrific battle.

The greatest heavyweight non-title fight since Foreman-Lyle.

Agreed, it is one of my all time favourite heavyweight fights. I still can't believe what Golota did. ESPN showed Foreman Vs Holyfield a couple of weeks ago, that was another brilliant fight. Big George who was derided as fat and out of shape looked in far better condition than the majority of todays heavies. ESPN is a good channel.

I watched, and enjoy, that.

Good to see (hear) Bob Mee riding solo on that as well without being hinered by Houldsworth.

Yeah Classic Boxing is great, and if you get a chance scroll through and you may pick up the odd gem on Five USA and Eurosport as well.

One-off shows on ESPN Classic are brilliant too, there was one last week about power punchers, featuring Tyson v Thomas and a few other bouts

Fast becoming my favourite channel

Caught Ibeabuchi- Tua on that last night, it was nice to see two Heavyweights actually throwing lots of punches and not holding, good scrap.

And also nice to see ESPN starting to open their vaults a little, after all we've seen Ali-Foreman/Frazier plenty of times.

aye, he ko'd barrera, but it was recorded as a dq i think?

he was fighting johnson for the bantanweight title, wba i think. wasn't a bad scrap actually, but espn have it advertised as rjj.
