Hey guys, just want to bring your attention, Decemeber 4th on the Gold Coast, one of Australia's best prospects Rohan Murdock will debut on Jamie Myer's show where Les Sherrington will fight Nader Hamdan.
Have a look at this kid, he has fought in heaps of other countries and represented Australia twice at the World Amateur titles, he is a 3 or 4 time Australian Amateur Champion, 5 or 6 time Queensland champion and is trained by a good mate Chris Carden at the Nerang PCYC.
He is fighting "the Poet Hobo" John Noctor from down Tassie way, who is now trained by Australia's most improved Trainer and overall good bloke Charlie Liparota who must be Victoria's promoter of the year for 2010, if not there's something wrong.
Anyway, Murdock is the real deal and if there is ever an Australian Champion in the waiting, it's gotta be him, he has it all, great body attack, terrific defence, can bang a bit, and he can fight, he's been sparring with Les Sherrington amongst others, so make sure you get to look at this young bloke.
He was featured in Australia's best boxing magazine Ray Wheatley's "World of boxing" early last year and his credentials are spectacular, having something like 90 Amateur fights with roughly only 15 losses, he has lost just 7 times under Chris Carden and the majority of those losses were in Russia, the Ukraine, Germany, UK and in the Worlds etc.
So this kid, I am sure will be the face of Aussie boxing within a very short time, Its a big statement i know, but lets just wait and see.
regards
Brad
