He can't stop proving me wrong. I was one of those who doubted him when he first stepped into world class. Yet his performances against Chacon and especially McCullough made a believer out of me, until Medina seemingly skooled him. I didn't buy the ill excuse cos Medina won the fight so comprehensivly. I thought that Medina would win another decision tonight.

I was sooo wrong! Harrison looked different from the opening bell. Quicker and he was throwing alot more. However in the middle rounds Mednia still confused him at times and going into the 10th i thought the fight was very close, closer than Darke and McCrory were making out IMO.

But as Medina's second win eroded, Harrison's sparked and the 10th round was where the fight was won, and he finised the job in the 11th.

I hold my hands up, and eat my humble pie once again. Harrison should now be placed back in the division's top 5, as in his previous performance he clearly wasn't 100%.

Medina still proved a tough test and going into the 10th the fight was close. He's capable of causing upsets, and provides hard night for any opponent outside the division's top 3.


Now Harrison can look for fights withe the division's elite once again. If MAB is continue, he may not want an immediate rematch with Pacquaio. He respects the WBO alot and he may decide that he wants to fight Scott, a fight that was talked about earlier in the year.

And of course, Harrison winning means another thing, McCoy stays!

Well I doubt you, the crinle-cut crips is a concept that has been inherantly flawed since it's conception.

I also thought the contest a lot closer than the commentators made it.

I have 3 of the rounds even (4,5,6) and had given Medina the 3rd round, Medina was coming on strong in the 7th and 8th and although I wasn't actually scoring it very carefully as I was watching it with a mind to writing about it, I actually had it even at the start of the 9th.

Despite that, Harrison's shots always had more convinction, and I don't think he ever intended it to go the distance. I feel Harrison should have used body work a lot more as the head shots were falling short a lot, but not a lot to complain about. Tapia next for Harrison I think would be good, another world class fighter, with little punch power, but will provided Harrison with another learning fight. The next step up from there, there are no easy nights work for Scott, Marquez and Pacquaio will be very hard for him to beat.

I agree with those who say that the fight was closer on thr cards than Darke and Glenn Made it, then again Glenn's scorecard usually are a bit silly.

I had it all sqaure at the end of the 9th, and i believe that at time harrison seemed lost with the skills of medina, and i personally believe that he will not join the upper echelon of top featherweights.

Well done on the reversal scott anyhow, you proved a lot of people wrong
