This seems to be the big dream of the Mexicans - to win a title at 4 different weights. There are a few on 3 now and campaigning for more - will any of these do it, or will father time and weight catch up with them. Here are the main contenders.

1) Marco Antonio Barrera - Lightweight.

Former Super Bantam, Feather and Super Feather world champion.

Has it come to late in the day for Marco Barrera to win a title at a four different weight. Never looked a particularly huge Super Bantamweight. He looks very fleshy at Lightweight when he fought Khan. Will need to cherry pick his champion. Apparently looked okay since the Khan fight.

2) Eric Morales - Lightweight/Light Welter/Welterweight.

Former Super Bantam, Feather and Super Feather champion.

Many people think he actually attained this after he fought David Diaz for the WBC Lightweight title. Many saw him as a worthy winner of that fight. But in his farewell, it didn't happen - so he is back for more. Not looked at all good in his return, but I am not certain what is his ideal weight. He might look alot more sharper back at 9stone 9.

3) Juan Manuel Marquez -

Former Feather, Super Feather - Currently Lightweight.

We all saw how he looked against the one of the greatest of all time up at Welterweight. The weight difference was huge. Possibly among the freshest of the contenders - but is a small Lightweight and maybe with some pretty hot fresh faces at Light Welter and some experienced faces at Welter. Maybe he will just keep his Lightweight title and maybe work as "fodder" at the higher level.

4) Humberto Soto
Former Feather (interim) - Super Feather - Currently Lightweight.

Three weight world champion, not of the level of the first three but most comfortable at Lightweight. The freshest of the three ahead. Might fancy going for the record and might be big enough at Light Welter.

5) Fernando Montiel.

Flyweight, Super Flyweight, Bantam champion.

My favourite to get the title cause he is so fresh and he looks so strong at Bantam. I would give him a massive chance at Super Bantam.

6) Jorge Arce.

Light Fly, Fly, Super Flyweight.

Quite how he has never for Montiel is beyond me. I believe they are freinds, but still - been "natural" rivals for years. He seems to be like the Evander Holyfield of the lower weights, just as you write him off, he proves the critics wrong. A very old 31, proabably too small beyond Bantamweight, but looks likely to get the crack at this 4 weight opportunity first. A fight with Vasquez Jnr is being lined up at Super Bantam.

Who do you think will do it.... will any?

Fernando Montiel, as he is the freshest of that lot.
