i'm prepared to indulge hurlock on this one as I'm really up for this fight too.........I was going Smith originally to bust up Degale with brute force and hard body punching but I've done a U-turn now. I think Degale will be well sparred-up and super fit and I think he'll stop Smith somewhere about 10 or 11.

My head says Degale but heart says Smith. I really want Smith to stop JD but I can see him getting outslicked and outpointed.

You got Smith in your heart? Those types of fighters will end up with 5 losses.
When can we start talking about Audley’s debut age?
In the Mike Tyson era?

I have no idea at all what your point is.
My heart tells me Smith will win because i'm biased being from the same city as him and having followed his career for many years. Tbh, I support nearly all the fighters from Liverpool regardless of who they fight. I just fear that Degale is going to produce something extra on the night and win a well fought decision. Does that make sense to you?
You really shouldn't go on the internet when you're wasted. ;;-)

smith allway's say's he drop's to his opponent's level & everyone who has watched him as a successfull amateur know's the kid has got great pedigree & as looked at home with the best in the world at that stage. he's been a slow burner but is young & fresh.
im abit like neri on this one & need to watch the fight as i cant predict how this fight is going.

I really think degale is up against it in this fight. He isn't going to be able to hit and turn, hit and turn and get away with no pay off. Smith barring no bad cuts is going to able to take degales slaps, and beat away at his body. People have been fooled into thinking that smith is going out of his depth with degale on the basis that people think he has looked "bad". Quigley and Dodson both fought to nullify smith on the inside, but smith was more than able to box at distance and win the fights. He motored home down the stretch, is strong, can punch, has seriously underrestimated boxing ability and has the heart and chin of a lion. Degale has only had target practice so far, and not fought as if his life depended on it. Any one can score in an open goal, it's when there's a keeper to stop the shots when you find out how good you are.
Smith to win via stoppage in the 10th

Got to go Degale here. Smith didn't desicively beat either Quigley and Dobson and Degale is a lot better than them both. On paper you can say Smith looks good 29 wins, but only 4 id say have been against decent opponents and he didn't come through those fights easily. I just think Degale is much better than Smith and that will show

this is tough call.
Smith has good experience and has good boxing skills, but I think hospital defence lets him down. I've liked smith since his amateur days n followed him on the contender. If it goes into the later rounds I think smigga will have the fitness and experience to win. I have a feeling Degale will start quickly, as he did in his last fight.
Overall, I think Degale in 5th or 6th round.
Should be a cracking fight!
