isnt watson the commonwealth champion at light middle, think hes best staying there as that divioson domestically is poor and he could clean up, because he hasnt done so i think he will get sparked

Watson could probably make light-welter but he's certainly no light-middle. Welter isn't that scary once you take Brook out of the equation, like light-middle after you remove Ryan Rhodes.

John O'Donnell takes on old rival Craig Watson in an intriguing clash of southpaws at Wembley on February 5.
O'Donnell narrowly outscored Watson in a thrilling 12-rounder at York Hall in April 2009 to wrest the Commonwealth welterweight title but then proved frustratingly inactive and relinquished the Commonwealth belt without defending. However, O'Donnell shed the ring-rust with a solid 12-round decision over ageing American Terrance Cauthen in September and the 25-year-old Londoner, who will enjoy big support on the night, has now won nine out of nine since his only career defeat at the hands of Mexican Christian Solano in Las Vegas in May 2007 in two upset rounds.
O'Donnell is a stylist who picks his punches sharply to head and body and usually enjoys masses of height and reach on his opponents but Watson, who famously famously floored Amir Khan in the amateurs, is a lofty welterweight himself and won the Commonwealth light-middleweight title with a second-round destruction of Uganda's Badru Lusambya earlier this year, although the Manchester man can still make welterweight and holds a big, big win at the weight over Matthew Hatton, the current European champion. The 27-year-old Watson, strong and aggressive, has won all six of his fights (four early) since dropping that decision to O'Donnell, a split decision that could have gone either way. O'Donnell got it by two scores of 115-114.
Nevertheless, O'Donnell, the house fighter, can presumably do again what he has done before. He boxes his way to a hard-earned decision.
