Dont know much about him can he be a force in the heavyweight divison? did he win anything as a amateur?

I think boxrec news did a great piece on him 6 months ago or so.

See if you can seek it out.

Only had a handful of amateur fights. Buy BM in a couple of weeks...should be a bit in there.

didnt they have a feature a few months back as well? i think it was a bit about prospects and had a picture of him

That's the very chap. Everyone loves a big lad and he's as big as any of them. Very humble fella but then again if he wasn't by now, he'd have gone the other way and either be dead or banged up again.

He's good company - very engaging, good talker. Can crack too - shook Mr Fury to his boots in one of their first spars.

Any of you guys know why he hasn't fought for over half a year? At 31, he's surely got to be moved a bit quicker, even given the fact he's a heavyweight...

Very nice little feature on him courtesy of a certain Mr McNeilly, but unfortunately you'll have to wait until the end of Jan for it as space in the next issue got very tight. Apologies all.

There's nothing to worry about re: Rich not boxing for a while. A couple of fights have fallen through and he's had a nasty chest infection.

He went up to Scotland to spar Chisora in his Klitschko preparations and really enjoyed it - i believe the spars were very competitive too. He'll be out again in the new year and i think come the end of the season he'll be knocking on the door for British or Commonwealth title.

He is incredibly dedicated and no-one need worry about him returning to previous bad ways. I have never encountered anyone more focussed on their career (in any walk of life) than Rich is focussed on his. He is absolutely a top guy and will be very popular with fans as he gains media exposure.

He's got a lot of talent, is genuinely huge and very athletic for his size - as you would expect from an Ingle fighter his footwork is excellent and he is fast and stylish.

Larry, I'm good mates with Rich and I've told him a few times that boxing being the business that it is i can see you two guys meeting in the ring at some point - i think the fact you both made mistakes in the past and paid for those mistakes with your liberty make the fight a real easy sell, especially if it were for the british title (if you both keep winning).

i think it's great for the sport that two fellas have used boxing as a path out of trouble. no-one other sport can touch boxing when it comes to stories like this and i genuinely wish you both all the best for the future (although if you box richard i wish you an absolute nightmare til the end of the fight mate!)

He was on a Hatton show a couple of months ago but his opponent's medical wasn't up to date.

Where is beagleboys when you need him? He last fought in May, Hatton has had a few shows since then, why has Towers not been on them? The bloke needs to keep earning and keep focussed or we all know what will happen.
