Your keen powers of observation are obviously what makes you the "man".
But wouldn't Iran Barkley run a close second, when "rugged" good looks are taken into account?

more important than their personal vanity, it may be more important to note that Zaragoza and Barkley did a pretty good job of rearranging the looks of their opponents. In fact they may well have improved the grill of a few of them.
Akin to practicing charitable "free range" plastic surgery.

i know it's gay to look for good looking boxers ... :) ... i just
googled pics for tunney and thought that it is hard to believe
this is not an actor or model but one of the best heavyweights
ever ... and BLOAT sounds nice as well ... anyways ... :) ...

Both Sugar Rays were handsome chaps. The Duran who beat Buchanan had leading-man looks.
Monzon was similarly very photogenic.
I'd add Tunney, Ezzard Charles, Dempsey, Cerdan, Ali and the Balthazar brothers...

I guess you couldn't complete the thread without Oscar De La Hoya
He & Ray Leonard partially built their careers as pretty boys...which reminds me of the current Welterweight Champion, in fact.
I would also say Miguel Cotto, but as a few people have told me we look quite a bit alike, that would be bias

Tunney was a top Light Heavyweight/P4P but didn't have longevity at Heavyweight.

Ali.
without a doubt.
sooo 'pretty'...
thought that BLOAT referred to 'bad loser of all time' which i would award to either Zab Judah or - and appropriate in more ways than one - James Toney who went looking for his manager with a gun the day after he lost to RJJ.

Well if we must take this seriously, my wife says DLH above all else, But also Carlos Monzon, Max Baer, Ali, Kostya Tszyu.
I had to go with Ali's Daughter and Regina Halmich.

i wouldn't have baer on the list of candidates. and leila
is way above regina in my book ... do not know about
de la hoya ... he is in a way too feminine in the first place.
if i was gay ... gene would be my guy ... weird to write
this ... actually - to round up a weird paragraph - regina
is more male than oscar ... but leila ... huhu ... that is
a woman ...

On the subject of women's boxing I can suggest Holly Holm anyone

and I agree with Laila Ali

I also remember reading in Ring Magazine when they did an obituary on Arturo Gatti he was the type of fighter you would sit down and watch with your missus as she would think he was cute and on a HBO commentary that mothers and daughters would happily sit down and watch a Saul Alavrez fight with their menfolk as they might think he is cute as well.

I wouldn't mind banging her but in some pics she can look really manly.
