Pascal/Hopkins PPV

£10 big ones for this fight is immensely ridiculous.

It's a decent fight, but come on, £10?

If it was half that then it would be tempting.

My question is though, will any of us boxing fans be temtped by this?

I won't. Primetime should take heed and whack it on or £5.

IMO.

Would take a strong man to resist now.

Paulie's trip to Welter is on the card, presuming they show that. Not sure how much his heart will be in it, he looked disheartened in the interview after the Khan fight.

At welter? God damn. I believed Paulie was closer to lightweight rather than welter. To me, that shows his heart isn't in it.

In the flesh he looks absolutely tiny, even as a lightweight.

Feck me, Ian. I had to read that twice.

Hopkins PPV?

I'd rather self harm.

as my notoriously stingy mate got persuaded to register his credit card for primetime for the froch / kessler fight on my skybox without realising the potential future implications i think i shall be purchasing this fight.

8)

about time he paid for the boxing....and if he's reading - thanks for the froch / abraham one last week too.

:OhYes:

Be prepared to get some money back on this one. The programme is supposed to start at 3am (who knows with primetime). So its bound to be a short and sweet one with that time frame.

If its going to be an international feed - then I have the feeling Tyson Fury might be ommited... therefore false advertising. All speculation off course, just think they'll show the main event and Malignaggi and thats it. Malignaggi hasn't got a gimmie (unlike Fury), so hope they show that.

If Fury is omitted it definitely will be false advertising, Stu - the PR company are saying he's part of the broadcast.

Oh yeah, he is on the adverts all the time - but with that start time - then either he will be on after the main event, or the main event will not be live.

Lets hope they will show all three and there will be no complaints. Messed up with the last two primetime shows (second one entirely my fault though).

I just wish they would showcase the repeat showing as the full PPV. All of that build up for the Froch fight, some nice undercard action - then the next day - all they show was the main event. Its not as if they have a time constraints.

Pascal is always good value, but when Hopkins is in the opposite corner practically any fight he is in ends up being a stinker. No way would I do PPV with Hopkins involved.

Audrey Harrison was on PPV & people paid for that, myself included. In light of that, I don't think anyone can say Pascal vs Hopkins does not deserve £10 from us!

Imagine if B-Hop pulls this out; His already secure legacy will be enhanced even more!

Yeah I wont be paying a tenner to watch Hopkins this decade or the next. I think he's going to give Pascal the run around ...

Its now down on the Sky EPG as being live from 12am. Even though it shows 3am on the Advert.

I love the proffesionalism of Primetime and Priemersports when it comes to their epg.

Though he is fighting a career lightweight who got done in five by Jorge Barrios a year ago, so it shouldn't be too taxing. But yeah, welter for Paulie seems as stretch & you'd imagine quick guy with no power = go down in weight, not up...

I'm quite looking forward to this one.

Hugely confident that Hopkins can pull this off.

He's 12-5 with Betfred

If I recall correctly, the notorious Marlon B. Wright is the ref of this one. Suprised Bernie hasn't attempted to get him switched if he hasn't already.

There's a surprise! It's like the utterly inept Lawrence Cole always getting to ref the big fights in Texas(helps his dad is comissioner though!) I am surprised BHOP hasn't complained especially as he prone to bending rules and Wright will be looking for excuses to deduct points. Having said that I really like Pascal and hopes he wins without controversy.

Don't forget a certain Richard Hatton having Mickey Vann as almost his own personal ref back in those halcyon WBU days. Good times. :OhYes:
