Everyone seems to be talking about what next for Mundine, but what about Wood, who should he fight next?

Wood did Mundine like a dinner. He does not have to fight him again, it would only be the same result.
Garth has bigger fish to fry.

How about Sakio Bika? Not that i think Wood has much chance, but it might be a good brawl for a few rounds and werent Bika's people looking for this fight earlier in the year?
If I were Bika's people I would definitly look to get this fight as I think both Bika and Wood fight the same fight with Bika being far better at it.

Nice call dave, I reckon all Aussies fighters in and around that weight class will be clamoring to fight Wood.

Noticed that Wood is now rated #5 at Middleweight on the official BoxRec ratings? That's got to be one of the most inflated ratings I've ever seen.

oh wow, I actually just had to go and check that myself, not that I didn't believe you... but wow.

I'm not sure if the rating is inflated. Considering he has beaten Kariuki Oganov and Mundine. Whether his style is brawling etc he still has them wins.
In all reality. He isn't that far off a guy like Mayorga except maybe a little more raw.

He should fight Junior Talipeau, before he does anything else.

that would be interesting but I reckon Garth will want to cash in on someone who can offer more money.
Danny Green should offer him a few bob

Shouldn't have changed 'cos he's still rated @ light middleweight

Would all fighters requesting a bout with Garth please form an orderley queue at the front door. ;;-)
Any half credible opponent will ensure Garth gets a good payday. People with only a casual interest in boxing will want to see the man who made their dreams come true. The big payday for Garth is the rematch, He has the right to demand his terms and conditions and share if Anthony wants to continue in this profession. If Jeff Fenech and Billy Hussein are completely confident they have Anthony worked out then a rematch is the obvious next step.
BTW. Kudos to Billy Hussein for being the first to rush to Anthony to see if he was OK.

Perhaps Boxrec was not impressed by the class of his victor.

It seems Boxrec weights are incorrect. They both weighed within middleweight according to ANBF site
http://www.anbf.org/Results10/SOP%20081210.htm
Middleweight 10x3
Garth Wood 72.00kgs Win KO 0:58 Round 5 Over Anthony Mundine 71.90kgs
