I wondered that, noticed that Big Larry O's fight has been taken down on boxrec, I wonder if they are trying to make Chisora/Olubamiwo for the British title, very short notice but both fit as fiddles.
Can it happen - wheres Larry?
Definately the trouble may be convincing Chisora to take it because presumably if he lost to Larry which is possible with his power, the Klitschko fight would be dead in the water.Tommy Gunn13 wrote:I did put that on another threadGLOBALBOX wrote:Tommy Gunn13 wrote:What are the chances of Chisora getting on the Liverpool show??

Larry has nothing to lose&everything to gain
id be very surprised if the Klitschko fight happens at all now...GLOBALBOX wrote:Definately the trouble may be convincing Chisora to take it because presumably if he lost to Larry which is possible with his power, the Klitschko fight would be dead in the water.Tommy Gunn13 wrote:I did put that on another threadGLOBALBOX wrote:

I agree, though, that Chisora would be more reluctant to fight Larry at short-notice than the other way round. The anti-climax of the world title fight being pulled and a hastily arranged match-up, in a different country, with a poweful anomaly like Larry could conspire against Dereck big style. If I were him, I would focus on securing as much of the Klitschko purse as feasibly possible, having a couple of weeks off and then looking to box again in early 2011. Don't turn a disappointment into a disaster.
Is it? The only fight that is not 50/50 is Smigga v DeGale.Coco wrote:It´still a very good card
Are you buying into it coco? i certainly arent...il make do wiv a rbr, cant be going wiv any streams,it always cost me more in the long run to sort my laptop outCoco wrote:It´still a very good card

Dereck won't be fighting this weekend. A fight with Vitali next year is a good option now.MachoMan09 wrote:I agree with all of that but I still maintain that Dereck should stay well clear of fighting in Liverpool, this weekend.carlbcfc wrote:But...........if Larry v Chisora did somehow happen on Saturday, you can bet every one of us will be intrigued by it. Personally, it would be a highlight for me. Warren will want to save the card with another big fight. Chisora has the bottle, make no mistake about that, and I am sure Larry would rip an arm off for a title shot, and the chance to take on what should of been the HW Champs task this Saturday.
