How do you get knocked down in two rounds, not score a knockdown yourself and get away with a draw?

By winning most of the other rounds. On two cards, Pascal won only two rounds after the third.

The only judge that did not call it a draw went for Pascal by 2 points.

I watched it. Had Pascal up 40 to 34 after 4 rounds. Had Bhop winning 114 112. When all is said an done Bhop dominbated the vast majority of the fight. The early knockdowns save Pascal.

So who does Hopkins fight next? Does he fight Jones again to see who wins 2 out of 3? Fight 2 was a pedestrian affair.

Is he really the best Light Heavyweight in the world? If there is no light heavy who can beat Old Father Time the division is not up to much.

He actually gave it 114 112 to Hopkins from the telecast I watched.

There you go Brute. Thats the beauty of forums even you can learn something new.
BTW. Ray Leonard got knocked down in two rounds, did'nt score a knockdown himself and walked away with a draw in Leonard V Hearns 2. Go figure.
I think Fammo hit the deck 3 times in Harada V Famechon 1 and walked away with a win.

No. I think the only judge that did not score it a draw went for Hopkins. But then again I'm no expert.

Sorry about that. I am used to Hopkins scores being first. It is still a shit division.

Willie Pep was referee and sole judge in that fight. He could not add up two rows of 15 numbers. It was a draw until Harada's corner called for a recount. There was a full complement of judges at the rematch, which did not matter because Johnny won by KO. In the first fight Harada knocked famechon down three times,
Famechon knocked Harada down once.

I thought Hopkins just edged it, 114-112. I hope they have a rematch. I think Hopkins will win it in a landslide.

Hopkins is a great fighter, to be able to compete with the best at LtHeavyweight at the age of 45 is remarkable.
