i personally think that the lightweight division is our best at the moment with 3 euro/world level fighters in murray/rees/mitchell an very good domestic bunch in arthur/watson/limond/matthews/macallister/ could be some great fights next year hope we get to see some

Disappointing. Did they give a reason? Don't get me wrong I don't see Brawley having a hope against Rees, but they've got to step him up eventually. How many more years can they drag him out against guys with losing records for another dull as sh1t points victory. Talk about failing to build on the Prizefighter victory.

Gilmour would take that if A)it was in jockland and B)if he could put gary mcarthur in together with brawley and alternates the rouds haha oh and C)the jocks get more dough than the champ.

He is fighting Stuart Green for the Scottish Area light-welter title. I dont know Brawley but there arent many active boxers from ayrshire so would like to see him well.

2011 will be a big year for John Watson, looking for big fights! Needs the experience and the right fights

I personally rate all the fighters in the weight, Murray & Mitchell are right up there but Rees,Watson,Matthews and AAA are all good fighters who could progress and do what the previous two mentioned doing now, I'd love to see Buckland given a chance too as I swear he's a right handful for anyone!! I think Murray could be the special one and I'll be first to say that he really has done things the hard way!! Small purses late notice fights and poorly promoted, he could be special if promoted and looked after right but like I said I feel Matthews, Rees,AAA and Watson are all brilliant fighters too!! ;)

I think murray will get outboxed by a slick operator when he steps up. McAllister was outboxing him then he decided to trade which was his undoing (although give murray his dues he got him out of there in the end!)
