My vote is: NO
Basillio did well this season. It may even be said that he overachieved by becoming the Undisputed Champion twice.
But, though he was a contender and a dangerous fighter to anyone, as Sugar Ray Robinson found out at his own peril, he just did not do enough.
The Hall is only for the best, and Basillio was NOT the best.
