Apparantly both have been offered $1,000,000 to make their boxing debuts against each other , cant see it happen for that price , Smith especially , as he aint really going to need the money , but maybe if it was charity they could be up for it .

Both are boxing fans, aren't they? Wahlberg's spent quite a bit of time at the Wildcard Gym, according to what I've read, and I'm sure I've seen Will Smith at the big fights.

Will Smith is a lot bigger than Wahlberg. Wahlberg would have to be pretty good to beat Smith. I believe Smith also trained for his role in ALI, so it's not like he has no experience with boxing.

Yeah Wahlberg and christian bale both train at the wild card full time and will smith's just a health and fitness freak who loves boxing,it would be better than people think.

Yeah, it's nothing to do with the state of boxing but with people's insatiable appetite for all things celeb. That's why that celebrity boxing crap pulled in tons more viewers than most legit boxing shows.
