I had Dean Francis beating Barney despite the bad arm! Says something for Barney?! And i forgot about Yuri Romanov taking out Vanzie in style, was that really this year? Christ it's been a long year. As for the afforementioned Mundine V Echols i would not necessarily say it was an upset, i always fancied Mundine in that one by UD and i was right for once! Despite his big mouth and brash manner Mundine is a classy boxer and he neutralised Echols power with a punch perfect display that evening similar to the one he did against Sven Ottke before the feather fisted German caught his china chin. If Mundine could take a decent shot then he could make decent waves at SM. But is his chin as bad as people think? Many say he was weight drained against Ottke and that added to the final effects of the ending punch, he may be more resilient than we think. Mundine-Calzaghe anyone?

Doesn't stop the first fight from being an upset though, same with Harrison vs Medina.

I'd definitely consider it an upset that Mundine beat Echols. Much of that was down to poor preparation (not Mundines fault), I wouldn't be surprised to see the Aussie banged out if he went over to the states for a rematch.

Danny Williams getting destroyed by Sinan Samil Sam back in February was an upset at the time, even in Germany. Everyone thought Sam was just a fat protected Turk. You could get 3/1 on him before the fight!
