Look back at the thread discussing the first live event you ever went to. I felt I just simply had to look up the record of Marvin O Brien.

So I did this via looking up Naseem Hamed's profile over here, I went onto the search date and came away with a fascinating fact about that bill and I think its got to be the first and only of its kind in the UK.

The question being is the Robinson vs Hamed bill the only UK bill in which all of the winners on the bill (and in some cases the losers) have either won or contested for world titles from the four major governing bodies?

I remember Matthews, Juuko, Piper and Lueshing on the bill, but Cately and Alicea escaped me.

Anybody know if this is true.

It's a difficult one to answer, given the proliferation of world titles in recent years. But, yes, that bill does seem unique. Could you reproduce all the fights on the bill?

Excellent little scrap this, Tony started well with the jab but the smaller Juuko came back into and in the end his aggression paid off, it was a clear victory. Both these faught for big world titles.

This one escaped me, of course Cately went on to win the WBC Super Middleweight belt.

Jason Matthews W Marvin O'Brien PTS 6 6
Matthews totally dominant against a poor journeyman, alot of rumblings that Matthews has got potential. Jason went on to win the WBO Middleweight belt.

Daniel Alicea W Peter Judson PTS 6 6
Can't remember this one, wish I could - I'm sure Dyanimite Dean Phillips wants to forget Judson. Alicea went on to challenge Hamed for his WBO crown.

Kevin Lueshing W Danny Quacoe PTS 8 0
Again a one sided fight and "the look" was looking good. Kevin had unsuccessful attempts at the IBF Welter and WBO Light Middleweight crowns.


Nicky Piper W Noel Magee KO 9 12
Good fight, close contest but Piper's power came through, he was just edging it at the time. Nicky had 3 attempts at geniune world champions at both Super Middle and Light Heavy.
