He could - if he actually gets a title shot. He seems to have been on the verge for ages. I thought he was pretty high on the WBC rankings, is this still the case? And who is promoting him now? If it's not Warren, it might take even longer.
In terms of ability, yes.

I think that Ryan has reached his maximum potential........
Ryan would never get beaten up or totally out classed at world level, but for me he is a bit short and is primarily a good domestic and european fighter. I'm not saying its completely impossible, because if he is matched right and things feel good on the night, then who knows, because this is a sport where one punch can change any fight.
So, whilst I would love to see Ryan win a world title and I don't completely rule that out, for me, he is a little short talent wise and a little long in the tooth.

A fight against Bundrage is most definetly winnable, it would be tough for him though. I would love for Rhodes to win a world title

Wasn't the Moore fight supposed to be an eliminator for the WBC title?

Ryan is WBC #3 , WBA #8, IBF #3.
He should definitely be gunning for Bundrage but I think every man and their dog at 154lbs is gunning for him. In the meantime, wasn't he supposed to fight Konecy? He's pretty highly rated as well(WBO#2, WBC#10,IBF#5) so that could definitely be an eliminator of some sort.
One thing about the IBF, they always enforce their mandatories. Even when it seems ludicrous to do so. They've been really strict on their rules every since they were investigated by the FBI for accepting bribes for bumping up fighters rankings.

Could he? With good management and promotion i think so
Will he? Well with the current state of his promotional and managerial affairs al over the place i highly doubt he is going to get the shot.

I completely agree - a top man and a good boxer - just a little short of world level.

Anyone who watched the moore fight will be in no doubt of what he is capable of and he lives the life which is why he has been able to compete at this level for so long no one had him beating moore and he beat him fighting moores fight so yes giving the right fight he could definately be world champ and it will a great night if he does

He is more than capable of beating Bundrage, but he needs to get the fight asap.....before he goes off the boil or Bundrage gets beat.
