Boxers head size - advantage/disadvantage?

Might seem like an odd question, but I do think it's a very valid one.
When people talk about boxers strengths and weaknesses, and stats in general, with always hear about height, weight, reach, biceps, neck, even fist size - but does anybody recall ever hear discussions on a fighters head size?
Some fighters such as Mayweather seem to have pea sized heads while others have huge heads (Valuev being an extreme example).
This is something I've noticed loads of times when fighters go head to head at weigh ins. Is is something that makes a difference in fights? Is a fighter having a small head a big advantage and is having a large one a big disadvantage?
It makes sense when you think that a target for one fighter could be 25%+ bigger than the target for another fighter. I'd be really interested to hear what some of the fighters on here think about it.
Here are a few examples that come to mind:

Really funny topic. I don't think so if I'm honest but can see your (slightly warped) logic!

Larry Holmes has a peanut for a head and the older he gets, the more it looks like Grandpa Simpson.

Kevin Mitchell has a tiny little head, I remember a picture of him with Joe Cole and it looked positively tiny compared to Joe's bonce.

This is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about - this happens in boxing all the time, yet I never hear anybody talk about it being an advantage/disadvantage.

I think fighters with the big heads have the best chins/durability. Some examples...
Jake LaMotta, Arturo Gatti, George Chuvalo, Carlos Baldomir, Mickey Walker, Rocky Marciano, Chiquita Gonzales, Carmen Basilio, Vito Antufermo, Marvin Hagler, Bennie Birscoe, Aaron Pryor.
There will be many more.

I hate punching people with big heads. Used to really hurt my hands. Baz Carey and Peter Allen both had fornicating rock heads.

Likewise this guy from Beetlejuice could have been an all time great
This is definately a friday afternoon topic.
Unless an opponents head is so small you keep missing it i can't see much advantage.

I think Mr. Tickle beats that guy from Beetlejuice. Insane reach advantage negates anything he gives away in head size.

It's interesting though, especially as it gives up the question of whether a larger head = better chin. Makes sense that something bigger should be "stronger". Not sure if it is true though when it comes to punch resistance.
Remember Salita fought Khan. He came out before the fight and said that he knew Khan was chinny - not because he was knocked over in previous fights - but because he had a pointed chin as opposed to a square shaped jaw. The rest is history.

Frank Maloney said Amir Khan had a Swans neck, does this require a different topic?
