Haye v Chagaev and Froch v Johnson on the same bill in London.
Likely to happen ? Can Chagaev fight in this country ?

I've heard a whisper about May for Haye.
Chagaev might have some health issues.

Not bad by TalkSport's woeful boxing standards...only ten days after we discussed it on BBC Five Live. We also talked about Chagaev and the Board.
Can't wait for the next TalkSport boxing story!
Adios.

Hey, give them a modicum of credit.
At least, for once, they've stopped talking about Premiership football long enough to give another sport a mention.

Saw in a newspaper this morning when I was scoffing in the local cafe. Must be hard for the figures to add up but ace if it comes off, but didn't Mick H say the super 6 semis were contracted to take place in the US

Could be one of those two-venue PPVs maybe Chris, one in London, one in the States? Wouldn't be the first time the papers have got a story nearly right (ie wrong).

Haye will not split PPV money with anyone else.
Johnson wants too much money to come to Britain for it not to be on PPV.
Froch will end up in Canada.

That'd be a big shame if it does end up in Canada.

Haye might not WANT to split the PPV revenue with anyone else, but let's face it, a match vs Chagaev is no barnburner, it might be a hard sell for Sky. Maybe Sky will decide that the best way to maximise their end of the take (and don't forget, that's the reason why Sky does PPVs in the first place), will be to have both Haye and Froch on the same show. At the end of the day it will be Sky's call.

sadly haye stands a fair chance of losing to chagaev...and the haye bubble will burst, haye needs a fight with wladimir before there is no fight to have, haye should accept less money than wladimir and 'get it on'

Spot on Rhino - fact is, Haye stands a chance of losing any time he goes in against a decent heavyweight. All it takes is one punch ...

The Froch fight will be Showtime's call, Sky don't have a say.
It's their Super Six. Showtime will not let their big project be on the undercard of Haye-Chagaev.
This story has no wings at all, strange Buncey would be so keen to get credit for it.

It wouldn't be undercard in the sense of it taking place in the same venue gobbles, you're correct. But if it took place in the States/Canada, while Haye's fight was in London, and Sky showed them both as part of the same PPV, Showtime would have no objection to that — they're in the business of maximising revenues too, they want the best deal for their overseas TV rights, and they'd probably stand to earn a fair bit more out of Froch's Super Six fight taking place as part of a big Sky PPV than they would if it were a Primetime PPV, which is the way things have been so far. Sky PPVs draw a much bigger audience than Primetime's.

I might go this if it's in London. Not been to a fight since the shitfest of a card that was Katsidis Mitchell.

I enjoyed it at West Ham, TBH. Not a stunning card, for sure, but think it was because it was close to home and I went with a few mates who are Irons ... er, let me put that another way, they're West Ham supporters. But as an evening out — I wasn't working, I was up in the stands — I enjoyed it.

Yes they are pitiful Steve. Talksport should be renamed TalkFootball.

Danny Kelly knows his boxing, Saggers and Quinn are interested, but otherwise they're pretty weak on boxing, agreed.

I almost came across for the Mitchell fight as it was a good weekend of sport with Big Larry fighting up in Brentwood on the friday and Oxford United in the Playoff finals on the sunday but let usual the kids and the buisness got in the way :(
Sounds like it would've been a great weekend. The joy of having responsibilities!

As an evening out it was quite good fun but the card wasn't up to much. I took my dad for his Birthday and he was shocked at how one-sided all the fights were. He used to be a big fan of boxing before it went to Sky so he'd never experienced a modern Allegedly card before.

Well i predict Chageav will get swerved in the UK by the medical peeps.
Then it will either be Haye fights him stateside...or
Saulerland will want to bring in their other heavyweight Alexander Povetkin instead.
Then on the undercard they will have Teddy Atlas vs Kalle Saulerland.

Cannot see this happening - US TV will be feck this up. Froch vs Johnson is on Showtime - most, if no longer all, GBP fights are on HBO.
A heavyweight title fight as a non-tv fight on a bill shown on US TV - is that a first? Cannot see it happening.

Aye. The highlight was seeing Cockney Rebel.
