Cracking fight and credit to both lads. Bantamweight is a helluva tough division though. Maybe one of the best in boxing. You'd figure Maloney and co. will keep McDonnell at European level until the likes of Montiel, Donaire, Darchinyan, Abegko and Mares leave a gap for a world title. A good fight for McDonnell could be former world champion Wladimir Sidorenko. That's another really tough fight mind.

Excellent fight and very close. I just gave it to McDonnell. Fair play on the Belgian lad, hes a quality fighter and will get better and better.

Does anyone know if tommy coyle boxed tonight . I had to pull out yesterday for the first time in 3 years. Really didn't want to let him & ticket payers down but at times things happen. Anyway I'm hoping they found an opponent & he done well . Please let me know

Yeh he boxed andy patterson good fight tommy won on points altho ref got a call totaly wrog when patterson put him over in the second and everyone saw it and the ref called no knockdown.
Coyle did wel to give away a chunk of weight and get the points win tho

Thanks a lot for quick reply mate. Good on him. Fair play. Think I caused some headache but what can you do? I really would've had the job & I think given him probs but who knows. I hate to mess things up but that's life!

Superb fight by two fringe world class fighters, I thought McDonnell nicked it, though he really needs to work on that jab he poked it out most of the time leaving himself unbelievably open to counter right hands. 114-113 for mcdonnel

Jamie hurt his left hand, his knuckles are like balloons today. He did this in the 3rd round thats why his jab wasnt been banged out, His jab is one of his key weapons you can see that in the Arnould fight.
He shown reall grit in this fight and im well proud of him

Excellent fight a draw wouldn't have been out of place. McDonnell has a good chin Jamoye scored plenty.
