Despite a load of names being thrown into the hat, Paul feels confident that a fight between him and Khan is likely.
Video interview included.

Well let me tell you Mccloskey and his team are DELUSIONAL! According to his manager, Maidana made 1 million against khan LOL. Amir Khans purse was 975,000 against Maidana.

Accordng to Dan Rafael in the pre fight build up, Maidana would make $550,000/£343,000 and Khan would make at least $1,500,000/£937,000. Those figures would obviously exclude PPV sales.
Khan, who will be making his third defense, will get at least $1.5 million, plus revenue from the television rights in the United Kingdom. Maidana will earn $550,000 plus an undisclosed bump if he wins the fight.

Makes me laugh when people think they have the 'inside info' and know everyone's purses.

I dont think he is asking for "near Khan's money".
What percentage split do you think would be fair for the fighters? 50/50? 60/40? 98/2?

I think McCloskey or Murray should be offered more than others due to the numbers they put on the live gate.I have watched Khan twice headline the M.E.N and it was a third full each time. With either of those two in the other corner it could be nearly full, thats a lot of extra cash.

I would say 70/30 to Khan, considering it's a voluntary.

Fun fight. As Paul is awkward. But Khan is just bigger, faster and better.
