Is this for real? Bargero is 42 years old. He came out of a three year retirement last year to knock over a couple of tomato cans. Now you tell us he is fighting for a regional title.
April 1 is eight weeks off, mate.

Brute, Don't despair,
The fight was just a thought by a couple of people, but I was told that one know-it all who hears all the second hand garbage around went and announed it was happening, without checking with anyone.
The real truth is, No formal application was made and when asked, I rejected it, but after another round of emails with every reason why it should happen appeared, I ran it past the PABA office in Seoul, and it was flatly rejected as well.
However, the arguments still abound by one person as to why it should be accepted etc etc, even though the Promoter has happily accepted the PABA's valid reasons for rejecting the fight, he has moved on and is now looking for another challenger for his voluntary defence.
I can tell you, this fight "WILL NOT" happen, so now watch them all slag me for this one, Ha-ha.
Cheers

Why would I need to check ya frigging goose? It's a forum not Herald-Sun
The fight was in the wind & I was simply seeking people's opinion and not your Self Importance crap =
I rejected it
You Sir don't have that authority :P
It appears no-one really gives a shit. Given some of the match-ups in the region, neither does PABA......$ is a $ policy rules

For everyone's info, Bargero's subsequent rejection by PABA's bossman Alan Kim was influenced by Sir Vocale 'cos he hates Angelo Hyder with passion & absolutely nothing to do with Bargero's age.
Sir Vocale also told PABA bossman, he intends to have quality fights in Oz e.g. LoPorto vs Venka.....Ouch!
Personal differences & politics have always & will always interfere with guys in the ring, who indirectly contribute to their income.....such is life in wonderful, wonderful world of pro boxing. :P

So now, according to the schedule Casey's defense is against Josh Clenshaw on April 8 at Flemington.
A week after April Fools Day.
