I won't beat about the bush, but I don't know if Hard Hitters is winding up - but apparently, there are some noises that Hatton has cut his eye and the fight is off! Rescheduled for Feb/March is what Hard hitters is reporting.

It is merely a rumour, or maybe a windup.

How would he have cut his eye? He must have finished all his sparring by now?

You would have thought so, plus he'd be wearing a bloody headguard, so how would he get a cut eye, unless it wasn't sustained during sparring.

I'm sure HH won't mind, but this is what he wrote on boxingaddicts.

I don't know any more than this - I think its a wind up, but one can never be sure. Look at Witter, he injured his hand last week on the news got round this week. Perhaps the cut happend early in the week, as Julio Ceasar Chavez will vouch (vs DLH) better to be safe than sorry concerning sparring cuts.

My feeling is that this is balls! (he says with both fingers, toes and eyes crossed!)

I wouldnt have thought he would still be sparring but i am assured it is going to be annnounced shortly......

I just got an email from Richard Maynard changing the time for the weigh in, so I think we can lay this one to rest.

However, there is no smoke without fire, and I'm sure HH would have been senisble enough not to post on 3 forums if his source wasn't accurate.

Now, I'm not saying the fight is off, but I do wander if Hatton has got some scar tissue - mmm Mick might by a busy boy, and I might be making a trip to Coral's.

My mate has just emailed after i told him about the Richard Maynard email to James and he is basically insisting that something has happened and the fight is off!

Can anyone find out for sure?

If he is wrong but is genuine i dont mind but if he is winding me up i will ring his bloody neck for him!!

I didnt want to alarm anyone but thought someone might be able to find out for sure!

I have only just got home from a half day hence im just posting...

I only posted this because my friend insisted he wasnt winding me up and it was def true....

He has since admitted it was a wind up and found it hilarious that I had posted it on three forums...

If i didnt believe him i would hardly post on our site!!
