Would be an excellent fight and would tell us plenty about Price, not sure whats in it for Sprott though at this stage, he is probably hoping to get the winner of Sosnowski/Dimitrenko however if FTM made the offer big enough, I would have thought Sprott would take it, he's a working man after all and money is a relevance.

I would not have thought there is the cash on offer to entice Sprott.

If that's true then boxing is on its arse. How can a fighter, who is only decent, at very best, demand too much money to get his name potentially back in the mix. If fighters like Sprott are pricing themselves out then we're fucked.

I thought Sprott was supposed to be in prison, then I heard someone saw him in Bedford last week. What's the situation?

Moment of stupidity, but same question? Skelton was suggested as a Feb 19th opponent for Fury.

He could be out by then, I suppose. He got five months on 10th December:

But surely he wouldn't be able to train to a good standard by then? The story I read suggesting that date was from January. Since when was 5 months not even 2 months?

He'll probably do 2 inside and 2 out on tag.

Sprott can earn good money on the German circuit like he has been doing for the past few years, I don't see him challenging for domestic titles here for less money.
Plus, he's way too risky for little Frank these days - he's actually got arms!

this would be a good fight and a step up price needs, couldnt see it happening but skelton v fury on the same bill would be another good test

I'd like to see Sprott and John McDermott fight all our HW prospects, it'd def sort the men from the boys

I am not sure Price would be ready to fight Sprott just yet, he is a bit too seasoned for Price who hasn't really been tested as yet.

He may be short but if Sprotty lands his 'Kenna Q' Price is going down to china town.

We are told Sprott has a big fight coming up in Germany he has be offer the fight with Price over 8 rounds or 10 but right now his manager has said no to the fight.

what sort of purse would you offer sprott for the fight frank? the germans pay decent coin you know, it may take a few quid to entice sprotty to 'test' one of our up and commers!

He wont say on here , i think weve pretty much established there will be no mention of purse size ,
personally i think hed be on the sort of money you would expect a british champion to get or not far off , as like you said its well spoken of that the germans pay more for their heavyweights , how much more though i wonder ....

Pricey Is too big, too strong and just too good all round for Sprott IMO..

Sprotty is far too experienced for Price and if he lands on Price's chin it is goodnight!

Sprott would be quite an ambitious match for Price in the first half of 2011. A Price win would put him right up there with Fury in terms of British title contention. On the other hand if Sprott was Price's next opponent, I'd expect a knockout win for Sprott.

It would be good to see Price in a fight where the opponent came in expecting to win. To be honest, I would rather pay to watch Price sparring Solis than the next over-matched, under-prepared "opponent" that'll fall without even breaking a sweat. Maybe Frank could sort something out!

dangerous fight :!:
sprott aint finished yet & he has a great track record against good giants & has done plenty of rds with the klits.it is a stupid match for price who has been boxing lorry drivers. he needs some big tough yanks flown over to give him rounds, he is going from one extreme to the other imo.
