Can't understand why everyone seems to think Amir will walk through this one. McCloskey was very polite in his interviews at the news conference but it must give him a big incentive to shove it up the pundits musn't it ?

Amir is favourite in every department but one bookie has him 1/14 to win.

If I could get 10/1 on McCloskey is would partake in a dabble.

McCloskey will not win a round while it lasts.

Shite fight that should in no way, shape or form be on PPV.

Unless he fights Hatton, Pacman, Marquez or Mayweather none of his fights are anywhere near SUPER-FIGHTS.

Khans speed is unbelieveable as is his power now and since moving to the States to Freddie Roach he has gone from a boy to a man.. This next 2 years will be massive for Amir with big big challenenges ahead, this though im afraid is not one of them..... Khan win by KO in 3

Be interesting, Khan hasnt been in with a live one, that isnt one dimentional. Plus I dont think weve seen anywhere near McCloskey at his best, I dont think Khan is very good at puzzles.

McCloskey will always stand a punchers chance, but I expect this to be very one sided myself. Khan will punish his poor defence too easy and if McCloskey has no chin, then could be out of there wuite early as well.

I think McCloskey will show heart and make it to the mid-late rounds, but Khan should dominate this.

The more I think about it the more chance I feel McKlusky (if Khan says his name like that one more time I am going to scream) has, because he's a slippery bugger who makes Mayorga look relatively othordox. If one of them punches Khan doesn't see coming lands then who knows. Khan being about 10/1-on is about right, though.

i think khan should win by rounds 6 or 7, the only sparring mccloskey can get to get use to khans speed is against manny, and we all know thats not happening, as far as the ppv goes its not always about 50/50 elite match ups you know, im sure fmj or oscar have been on ppv in the past over in the states where the public knew they would win easy but just wanted to watch them because there legends, and before you all say khans not a legend, maybe his not but he has a massive following and if theres a demand to watch him then there will always be a price to pay for the privilage, if you dont want to pay 14.95 to watch it live then wait till the following week ! im not saying its right but it is what it is and it wont change !
look at chisora v klitscho, his as big an underdog as mccloskey but you watch it to support and hope the guy you want wins and its a good fight, its not 50/50 but still exciting !
can you imagine if alexanda v bradley was ppv, god you would of been disappointed, but it was a 50/50 ish fight on paper with 2 so called elite fighters !

I don't see McCloskey getting blown away, more relentlessly beaten down over time. He might pose Khan a few early problems, epecially if he has the sense to go in fighting as unorthodox as possible, but you suspect that there will be a time, probably a round the third or fourth, when Khan catches up with him and hurts him - from there on, whilst I suspect that McCloskey is good enough and brave enough to take a beating and keep coming forward where possible, it might get really ugly until a stoppage, perhaps by his corner, around the eighth or ninth rounds.
