Does that seem an expensive ticket?

I'm not one that goes to many big shows, and did think this might be reasonably priced seeing as Paul McCloskey isn't the biggest name in world boxing, but i think that £84 and £136 is a bit much.

Is that an average price now for a big show?

You can get to the front of the lower tier for £84(75+fees),probably the best seats in the venue.The Haye-Harrison tickets were more expensive and it was a poorer fight.Tickets for this went on sale on Tuesday but no upper tier seats were available online despite prices of £40-50 + fees listed.When i selected a couple of £50 tickets it simply came up tickets not available.

They had £40/50 lower tier (corners) on sale, but they sold out same day (or early next day). It is quite a lot to get a decent seat, I paid I think £40 for pretty much the best seats for Froch vs Pascal.

Well if you want the tickets at face value and no fees and want to or dont mind sitting near the McCloskey fans then we have 200 tickets from £75 upwards.

We've shifted over 200 in less than 48 hours so far and McCloskey's father-in-law owns a supermarket in Dungiven and supposedly they have done 1,000's.

For your typical MEN/O2 'big show' then yes thats about right. You usually have some cheaper £40 and £50 tickets in the corners, which are appalling views at the MEN especially-I was there for Khan v Barrera and felt miles away, even though I was on the lower tier.

For Haye v Ruiz I splashed out a bit on the £75+booking fee ones, and it was a great view facing the ring, and well worth it really. If your gonna spend £50 on a shit view, you might as well fork out another £30 and have a very good one.

I had equivalent seats at Froch v Dirrell for a much lower price, but that whole night of boxing was an abomination to be honest, and it wasn't as big a show. But boxing is an expensive sport to follow in person compared to other sports, your average Saturday Fight Night cheapest tickets will be at least £30, but more likely £35-£40. Ridiculous really, but when suckers like me pay that to watch the sport, you can understand why they charge what they do. And there must be enough out there, as its rare you get a SFN where the arena/leisure centre looks empty-unlike in the States.

I am part of the McCloskey team. We have got loads more tickets now. Team Khan have actually taken Tickets from the M.E.N. and Team Hatton for us. We are selling them for face value at retail outlets in Ireland. We also plan to sell them on www.paulmccloskey.com for much cheaper than ticketmaster. They will only have whatever fee we are charged for credit card bookings on top

paul is goin to play a major part in ticket sales and tv figures, i hopes hes getting the right pay day now.
