I was caught out by this one, though in retrospect, I feel I should've put it together. Oh, well. Maybe you can do better.
Q: What do Riddick Bowe, Rocky Marciano & Gene Tunney have in common which no other former HW Champions do?

Sounds like a winner as long as it isn't including paper champions like Valuev.

Well, maybe I'll steal his thunder with: The only
retired Heavyweight champions never to have been knocked out or stopped.

You're a better man than I am. As soon as I heard the answer, I knew it to be true. Everyone else had lost at some point inside the distance.
Correct!

.....so do we have to expand this to Valuev? Or wait to exclude him when he is stopped before he retires from the ring...
here's hoping....
GI......I told you Bowe was good for somethin'.

It was pretty remarkable that he didn't get stopped by Golota considering the horrendous beating he took in that fight from the first round.

To be fair, you could also say it was pretty remarkable Marciano avoided a stoppage defeat in his rematch with Charles, & that Tunney was lucky the long-count intervened to save him from a potential KO loss in his return with Dempsey, so it evens out somewhat.
