I think most British eliminators are over 10 rounds, but maybe they can be over 12 if that is what is agreed, even without a title being on the line.

Think final eliminators are over 12 but any old eliminator is over 10 - thats the way I remember it but perhaps I'm wrong

Fury vs McDermott was over 12, so I think that might be the case.

Gavin vs Lomax can't be a final eliminator, can it?

I thought they would use the fact Lomax won Prizefighter as a way of building this one up. I don't think this will be a contest to be honest.

By the way, non-title 12 rounders used to be common...just not for some time.

Who knows? Both men fought at welterweight, maybe somebody came up with a title name after the fight.
