So, whats the feedback about these two shows going head to head ?

Fights, post-fight banter, commentary etc.

For the London cards alone, I would have to go with premier sports! 2 evenly matched, British title fights that were both good fights! Their was a more relaxed atmosphere on PS, but Bunce does talk some sh¡t (comparing Fury to Foreman and the Klitschko's ) he is really good TV though and loves the sport. Both were good shows but the edge for PS for me (plus no adverts in between rounds)

primetime for me aswell, better card. For a 1st time effort i thought it was very good buncey was at his best again. little bits annoyed me no round number on the timer and the MC sound was poor apart from that was very good. Things can only get better from now on

Hennessy's bill was alot better than Warren's bill - so that obviously had an advantage. I do prefer Sky's presentation overall. Bunce doesn't do it for me as a colour commentator, give me Watt any day.

Although the lack of adverts on Premier was very good, and the fact their show was longer.

Does anyone else think Sky's 4 man commentary team is now overcrowding it a little. I do really like Bob Mee on Eurosport, I think he analyses fights really well - I think his role on Sky though is a little bit of a waste - a general rules man, and scoring man - like they have in the states (with that squeeky voice guy who I've forgotton his name). Bob has worked for years as Sky's stat man, but I feel they should either use him as a colour commentator or just keep him behind the scenes. How about Bob on Premier!

I would naturally assume Adam Smith has a role in this change of approach, sometimes I feel less is more though. Just have Watt and McGuigan there every week doing as much as they possibly can. Call me fussy, but I liked it before when they had the special comments from Oliver, Piper from a ringside seat, being interviewed by Ed Robinson - than now being officially part of the "team" but only saying words every 4 rounds or so.

So has any more info been released by premier on future bouts and boxing on there in general? Will hennessy be putting more shows on with them?

I'm trying to justify the extra money on top of my sky package, I signed up for espn when it came out over here thinking it would show plenty of boxing, then got rid after so long because they show very little

Hennessy bill was better! But it was not a good night with Daws and O'Donnell losing for him. Was there a big crowd there?

really bad night for hennesay but it was a good show hopefully premier can give him regular tv dates hes got a good stable

Premier will be showing Bute--McGee. I'm very happy with their coverage: at least we're getting some of the fights we'd never see if it was just Sky. As well as Mick's card, I enjoyed watching Sturm (although the less said about Witter the better). Premier are giving good value: long may it continue.

I thought Premier did a nice job of broadcasting the event, a little raw around the edges but had a good overall feel to it.
It helped that Hennessy Sports had put some good matches together of course!

BTW Premier please display the round numbers on the screen.

I think Bunce did a good job considering he rarely gets those gigs, a few more shows like that and he'd get it nailed i reckon.

He comes out with some hyperbole but his enthusiasm is infectious imo

He's been in the game a long time that's undeniable, he knows his stuff that's undeniable, but he can't commentate to save his life.

Bunce was entertaining, especially with his old foil Kerr - and wasn't afraid to ask questions or make comments, and clearly has rapport/banter with the fighters.

Mee/Piper - what did they bring ? Sky's coverage needs a cull.

I just glaze over when the fight ends, or if I've recorded it I fast forward it.

Glenn McCory's "Hoooook" aside, I just don't get stimulated by their scripted comments.

At least Bunce tells it like it is, I'll never forget when he was candid after Rees got battered by Kotelnik post fight. Harsh but very true and I respect him for that.

How exactly comparing Fury with Foreman telling it like it is?

The heavyweight division is in a dire state as far as the young guns are concerned globally, yes. But a new fan would come away from that thinking Fury was a sure fire world champion and his opponent weren't that bad. Neither are the case, far from it.

i really liked the ps hennessy bill, kerr is a good presenter and i really like listening to bunce, but maybe not in the commentator role. they are doing a lot of boxing and calling themselves the home of boxing in the uk now, so this is something they are focusing on.

in terms of hennessy does he really have any headliners now bar barker and fury? bad night for him.

I think Fury looked the best he ever has, 'fitter', didn't rush and his punches carried more authority.

how can u say fury looks certain not to make world level? i'm a fan of his, but the world heavyweight scene wil open up in the next few years and i could see him beating haye once he gets more conmpetitive fights and gets some titles under his belt.

i got a strong suspicion that he will sign with hatton once his contract with hennessy is over (been with him a while now). could be out next on haye undercard which will be interesting and that's if froch is on the bill as i've heard.

Watson also promoted by hattons but hennessy won purse bids. Also witter lost as well.

I didn't say it wasn't certain that he won't make it to world level. Compared to many on here I champion him. I've praised his callibre of opponents for a 13 fight novice. What I said was, hearing the commentary - it was like a sure fire certainty that he was going to win a world title - comparisons with Foreman, the Klitchsko's etc. It was shades of the Harrison commentary when he was fighting on the Beeb.

This is a guy who had 2 big struggles with John McDermott, one he shouldn't have won.

O.K,i cant be certain but i strongly believe he wont.I actually rate Fury a bit and think he has a lot of good qualities but also a lot of weaknesses.If he went away with a top quality coach for a couple of years who knows,but he wont,his culture will prevent it.I would tip Price and Chisora over him now and dont fancy either at world level.As for beating Haye.....thats not really worthy of a reply,and im not a huge Haye fan!
