how much do they get paid???

eg:

4 round fight
6 round fight
8 round fight
10 round fight
10 round local title fight - scottish title
12 round british title fight
12 round commonwealth title fight
12 round european title fight
12 round world title fight

also do they get paid per fight or per show as many double up as judges and refs doing more than 1-2 fights on a single card.

From a quick search perhaps he was talking about Holyfield 2, which would make sense seeing as he went on to comment on his performance in the fight.

B Class small show would be around £85 for the evening A Class small show around £125 for the evening, B Class would also get £125 for a dinner show if they did more than 2 fights. A* Is the way forward but I will let them tell you what they earn if indeed they want to.

The above is Plus expenses.

Inspectors do not get paid but can claim back mileage expenses but seldom bother.

There's a Yank called Musashi on the CS who's a pro judge. Send him a PM or something.

Any class of referee doing 4 bouts non title from £80 - £125 (depending on total purses of show)

English/British title fight: Ref £150 Judges £100

Plus expenses which would be travel and hotel if necessary.

Euro and World title depends on organisation.

Cheers for the info as its something I'm very interested in...as some might know I have started a boxing blog based on judging fights and collecting scores...I have also got a sporting background as I got my HND in health fitness and exercise

I know there is a huge waiting list and that you need to wait a while to even be seen by your local boxing council but it would be well worth it as I work 4 on 4 off so I have many weekends off during the year
